A little bit about ME
Besides the books, I am a very physically active person. I play badminton twice a week and enjoy shooting hoops in my backyard. I also enjoy music and have been playing electric bass for the past 3 years. I have also been participating in Eisteddfod each year for the past 6 years. Of course, I'm also into technology like any other child, but more interested in creating video games than playing them.
Founder of Ignite Abilities
Tutor since 2022
My name is Summer Hawkins and I am a year 8 student. My interest in helping others with their learning started when I was in COVID lockdown, at the time I was in year 5. I was helping my younger brother complete activities assigned by his school. From then on, I developed an interest and passion to continue helping children that needed some extra time for their learning.
I was very fortunate to graduate from primary school as a DUX. I have always enjoyed learning new things in all areas and I never find learning boring because I make it interesting for myself, as I would for my students.
After 2 years of tutoring kids in early childhood in my own home, I am now ready to expand my services and tutor upper primary students.
