A little bit about ME
Besides the books, I am a very physically active person. I play badminton 3-4 times. I also have a passion for music and have used this to learn instruments such as electric bass and cello. This is my fifth year playing bass. I started learning cello in primary school and have picked it up again this year to refresh. I plenty of experience playing and competing in the Eisteddfod in primary school and high school . While I enjoy playing video games, my passion is more geared towards creating them.
Founder of Ignite Abilities
Tutor since 2022
My name is Summer Hawkins and I am a year 9 student. My interest in helping others with their learning started when I was in COVID lockdown, at the time I was in year 5. I was helping my younger brother complete activities assigned by his school. From then on, I developed an interest and passion to continue helping children that needed some extra time or wanted to extend their learning.
I was very fortunate to graduate from primary school as a DUX. I have always enjoyed learning new things in all areas and I never find learning boring because I make it interesting for myself, as I would for my students.
I have experience in assisting students across a range of ages and abilities.
